Tilting at windmills
The blog – the old Green Isle of the Great Deep – has been very quiet for the past month, for a number of very good reasons. Firstly I’ve been far from the Highlands of Scotland, and – very unusually for me – far, far from an internet connection. The past three weeks has seen Ruth, myself, and our two older lads (Charlie and Hamish), along with Charlie’s girlfriend Sarah, touring around southern Spain, but mainly ensconced in a Villa high in the Mountains behind Malaga, on the road to Grananda.
On the road home now, in Nerja on the coast, and then Madrid tomorrow, so normal service is in the process of being restored.
Oh, and these are some of Cervantes Windmills, on a hill high above the Castilian plain.
