Oblivious

Oblivious, originally uploaded by ccgd.

This shot has been used by the Spanish Supermarket chain Eroski to illustrate an article in their on0line magazine about cruise ships.

The trouble is they never asked me first.......

Not sure to be please or grumpy. Currently 65% Grumpy.

It has a creative commons licence, which they have stretched significantly.

Bad

But they have also linked back to my web site.

Good

Mmmm - Confused of Cromarty.

Magnus in the air

Magnus in the air, originally uploaded by ccgd.

As a XC racer, air shots are unsual for the lad. However I caught him as he trained at our local track this afternoon, his first weekend home for a month.

With her Royal Humane Society Medal Plaque - she saved three men when their boat struck a rock a 100 yards from the shore, just behind where this photo was taken.

I'm working on a series of portraits of Cromarty people, as part of a book about the town and it's relationship to the sea, which will be published this summer.

Lighthouse

Lighthouse, originally uploaded by ccgd.

The setting sun is just behind the Cromarty Lighthouse, providing its only light since it was de-commisioned 16 months ago. Now up for sale at £60K....

According to the Invernes Courier article there may be a number of competing bids for the building, as a holiday house, part of the Aberdeen University Outstation, or an as yet unspecified community use.

I wonder if Nightingale has a right of pre-emption over the building?
