Despite a puncture at end of his first lap he went on to win the race, and qualify for the Scotland Youth Squad.

Ruth and I had a pretty tense few minutes in the middle of the race, when I was told by a Marshal that he had punctured again, and was out of the race.

It wasn't Mags, it was another lad......

Phew.
