I'm working on a series of portraits of Cromarty people, as part of a book about the town and it's relationship to the sea, which will be published this summer.
The setting sun is just behind the Cromarty Lighthouse, providing its only light since it was de-commisioned 16 months ago. Now up for sale at £60K....
According to the Invernes Courier article there may be a number of competing bids for the building, as a holiday house, part of the Aberdeen University Outstation, or an as yet unspecified community use.
I wonder if Nightingale has a right of pre-emption over the building?
